With 2007 but
a ever growing distant memory as 2008 swings into the frame, we get
into the year of
the theater fundraising race.... And they're off!
The first of such fundraisers was "A Night With Mike Whitney."
(No pictures included.) |
|
The next
fundraiser to visit the theater was a lovely
duo of a production call "Dear Liar" Which starred
Laurel
Adams. The booklet cover is to the right,
and below is a ticket stub.

There were likely some other fundraisers too,
but I was not involved with them in any way. |
|
|
| Next fundraiser came with
a local band in tow. |
|
|
After the beginning of the
year fundraisers, it was
time for the 2008 season to truly begin, and what
better way than Romantic Comedy. |

And of course, what's promoting the show without
some frogs?

Didn't get much in the way of pictures
for Camelot
as the set was quite dark, at least on my camera.
Haven't gotten any donations as far as pictures
for this show are concerned!
The following show was 'Taking Sides' a Nazi
War Trials play that I graciously donated my
lightboard for. During this show, I had just gotten
rid of my old 1993 Tercel, gotten a bad case of
mold in my lungs from said Tercel, and a week
later gotten this spiffy ride (at right.)

|
The next off-season show I actually
got to be in!
I played a light tech. Really! His name was
Rusty Knales! He got killed before the end of the
first act. Here was the promotional for it in the
Camelot booklet. I'm adding its content here
because its only 3 images.
Presenting, Peril at the Peacock!

I actually recovered from
my mold induced asthma
in time to manage to be in Peril at the Peacock.
Didn't do much in the way of running or anything
strenuous just to be safe! |

Didn't take many photos of Catch
Me If You Can.
The Set picture is photoshopped together from
three images that I took from the light booth.
Didn't see the need in taking more pictures of a
show I wasn't on the stage for.
The next off-season item was the McElvis
Benefit. Snagged a ticket stub from the event.
During this event, it also co-starred the
Nunsense nuns.
After this benefit, I donated my lightboard to the
Christmas
production directed by Nancy Davis
entitled The Best
Little Christmas Pageant Ever.
I was not involved in the Christmas production
due to health issues.

There was going
to be a repeat of Peril at the Peacock in December but with the economy
the way it is....
The event was cancelled! And that, dear viewers, are all the shows
that I lit for the 2008 Season that I
was not on the stage for. All other shows that I did lighting for
and acted in have their own entries! |
